Indiana Jones

Last weekend we saw Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and all i can say is ANTS RULE!
"You're giving spoilers away Eliza."
Oh I don't care. If you are a human who is reading this blog and haven't yet seen Jones 4 SKIP THIS POST. Happy?
"Very."
Hmmf, where was I?
"ANTS RULE."
Right, finally my cousins are shown as the warriors they are. It's not easy dragging humans around, especially when they're screaming and writhing across the ground.
"Um, Eliza that was only a small part of the movie."
SMALL! That was the best scene in a movie EVER! It's going to win a Pulitzer-What? An Emmy, Tony, whatever- you KNOW what I'm talking about. Human I have to thank you for sneaking me into the theater. What was in that box?
"Rasinets."
Delicious. Get me some more.
"Eliza, you ate the whole box and you're still on a sugar high 2 days later."
Oh please, a small box of candy. They ate a least 3 guys and did you see the ants acting weird in the movie?

Ants in Nausicaä- I Don't Think So

Thanks, human for letting me watch one of your favorite animes.  There was one major problem I had with the movie though.  Can you guess?

"Hmm, does it have something to do with the title of this post?"

Oh sometimes you surprise me with your astuteness- but rarely.

"Nausicaä..."

Well, I loved the whole premise of the the movie. It's based on the manga you know. However, even though there was a myriad of mutant insects and animals I didn't see ANY ants- toxic or otherwise.

"Well, ants are generally small, maybe you just couldn't see them."

Oh please. There's sentry dragonflies, ostrich/camel and fox/squirrel hybrids. And the Ohmm's, well, I have no idea really. But, Human, there's even blue beatles.

"Beetles. Is there a point to this rant Eliza? After all, you did like the movie..."

Yes, I want you to contact Hayao Miyazaki and tell him to add Toxic Ants (most likely a talking one named Eliza Leigh) into his next film. Or manga, I would be happy with that.

"I'm glad you could be content. To bad I have no way or desire to contact one of the best to tell him my talking ant wants to be in his next project. Besides I think the next one that will be released in English is a variation on the Little Mermaid (Ponyo On A Cliff) and unless you can talk under the sea..."

Ha Ha. You just don't think something as small as me could handle being a star.

"Oh yeah, what about A Bug's Life, Antz and The Ant Bully those all had talking ants."

Yes, but the leading role was always a man.

"But they're ANTS! That's it, time for bed I refuse to fight with an insect."

TRUCKS

Trucks have always fascinated me. Big/little it was always the horn that mattered the most. Hmm, they just don’t make em like they used too that’s for ding-a-ling sure.
“Trucks…”
Yes humanoid- I was getting to that. Roll the clip! I always wanted to say that.

Trucks are for transferring things:
18 Wheelers

Transferring goods across great or small distances.
Also used to be great for hitchers.

Dump Trucks

Transferring trash.
Humans are so wasteful. I know I grew up in a dump.
Some say people use it to get rid of bodies too.

So there are a few samples of trucks and their uses. Being a mode of transpertation- “Transportation”
Whatever, trucks have been very useful but recent gas prices has been making it increasingly expensive and difficult to do. You know I hate it when you leave the news on! But there was this fascinating special about alternative means of energy. Something about using avocado oil- WHAT?

Human you’re choking again. Oh all right, maybe not avocado but sugar cane, corn, wood chips, soybean even algae are all things that can be used… hey I wasn’t done yet…stop snorting.

How you found my new and obscure blog I don't know- it's been left in the hands of my humanoid assistant who constantly walks into things and still looks at the keyboard when typing. I am Eliza Leigh, yes an ant. Not an aunt but a small insect whose family is scattered through out the world. Yes, our family picnics are quite large.
